Day 1:
Arrive at Mauritius International airport. Meet and greet at airport by
Concept Voyages' representative and transfer to hotel by coach. Free day
at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of
South Mauritius tour. Discover the delights of the south of Mauritius
starting with a sight visit at “Trou Aux Cerfs“ huge, natural volcanic
crater formed millions of years ago- overlooking the town of Curepipe,
offers a panoramic view. Because of its accessibility, it serves as a
recreation centre and is also one of the main tourist attractions.
Afterwards we take you to the mysterious and enchanting “Grand Bassin” -
an important pilgrimage site and many Mauritians of the Hindu faith walk
there during the Maha Shivaratri festival or the night fasting dedicated
to Shiva, passing by the biggest natural water reservoir of Mare Aux
Vacoas - 25.89 capacity(Mm3). Then to the highest point of Mauritius for
the breathtaking view of the west coast. A viewpoint among the clouds; Les
Gorges-of black river - water flowing down from Black River has carved
these beautiful gorges in that mountainous region due to its steep
gradient towards the sea, you can admire the Chamarel waterfalls and the
seven colored earth - an undulating landscape of different and contrasting
shades of colours. The different shades of blue, green, red and yellow are
apparently the result of the erosion of the volcanic ash. Dinner &
overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. Free day at leisure for shopping and
other personal activities. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of
Ile Aux Cerfs tour - a paradise for water sports and has the most
beautiful beach in Mauritius. You cannot afford to miss this tsiny island,
delicately poised on the ocean, a real pearl in the Mauritian landscape. A
trip by boat to the fabulous virgin island and experience an array of
water sports like parasailing, speedboat, the banana boat and so forth.
Please bring along your sun block cream and towel. Dinner & overnight at
hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast at hotel. Free day at leisure. Dinner & overnight
at hotel.
Day 6: After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of
North Mauritius tour. Visit the island’s busy capital ‘Port-Louis”
overlooking the port and overwhelming shopping centre “the Caudan
waterfront”. Pamplemousses botanical garden - known to naturalists
throughout the world for their large collection of indigenous and exotic
plants, including the giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies and many
species of palm trees. (Pamplemousses garden entrance fee to be paid
directly at the entrance. This is not included in the package cost)
Finally you can spend the afternoon in Grand Baie, the coastal touristic
village where you can find the popular tourist’s spot, restaurants, bars,
pubs, beaches, water sports and disco. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Breakfast at hotel. Depart for airport to board flight home.
